This wooden inkstand is decorated on the front with two gold cherubs and intricate scrollwork. Seated on the wood base are two glass inkwells with brass lids and a central urn-like container with a decorative lid for storage. The piece stands on four paw-shaped feet. There is a side pull-out drawer and a pen channel on the top surface designed to hold writing instruments.
