This crystal inkwell features a sunburst design cut into the base, encased in sterling silver. The inkwell has a bowed drop front that includes a stamp holder and an open framed area, which may have originally held a perpetual calendar. The inkstand is marked with London hallmarks for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd and has a date letter indicating it was made in 1909.
