A pistol-shaped travel writing set consisting of an inkwell, dip pen and a mechanical pencil.  The barrel of the “pistol” it turns out to be a snap-action mechanical pencil – pull the trigger and the pencil pops out. Its extraction allows the opening of the inkwell, while a telescopic pen is inserted into the pistol grip which, by unscrewing the tip, reveals a nib inside which must be screwed back on the pen. Open the chamber of the gun and inside is a small traveling inkwell in the shape of a bullet. The pistol is made of silver-or nickel-plated brass with a wood grip and is probably English and from the Victorian era.
