This brass double inkstand features dragons. At each end there are dragon heads with rings in their mouths. The lids of the glass inkwells are embossed with a dragon design. The pen tray in front incorporates dragon elements. The urn in the center would hold writing accessories. Dragons are deeply embedded in the mythology and folklore of East Asian cultures.
