This Art Deco inkstand’s base is made from marbled Bakelite. The marbling displays a rich combination of colors – creams, browns, and hints of amber or yellow, swirled together to create a visually dynamic and organic pattern. The base has a stepped design which includes two parallel grooves specifically designed to hold pens. It holds two clear glass inkwells topped with domed Bakelite lids, held in place with contrasting black Bakelite dividers.
Sold with a sterling silver pen for $445 in March 2025
