This S.W. Farber brass inkstand has a rectangular base with a raised platform that holds an inkwell and a perpetual calendar. The inkwell is a cylindrical shape with a domed lid. The perpetual calendar has thick, changeable cardboard cards that are inserted in a slot on the back of the rectangular frame to show the current month. There are pegs to hold two pens located beneath the calendar, and a pen ledge is positioned in front of the inkwell.
