This is a glass inkwell with a faceted design, giving it a textured appearance. The lid features a bronze bird figurine, which resembles either a parrot or a parakeet, perched elegantly with detailed feather textures. The mark “Geschutzt” under the bird’s tail indicates that the design is protected by patent or copyright, a common practice in German-speaking countries.
