This antique French inkwell, dating to the 1800s, combines several luxurious materials. It features a rectangular base made of alabaster stone. The inkwell itself is crafted from gilt bronze with intricate detailing and a rich golden finish. The inkwell has a cylindrical shape and is adorned with floral designs. A notable feature is the oval-shaped opaline glass inset, set within a gilt bronze framework, intended to hold writing supplies. Small pearl embellishments add a delicate touch to the overall design.
