This unusual and rare Teakettle form ink bottle is in a medium shaded pinkish plum amethyst. The neck ring and lid are in well-used condition with some front-end loss and dents. This ink’s form is ornate with an eight-paneled lower body and the middle having a corseted waist appearance. Some collectors refer to this unusual mold form as “Pacifier” because it looks like a baby’s pacifier. The top has a high domed copula.
