19th century French Art Nouveau bronze inkstand featuring an eagle perched on a rock outcropping and spreading its wings. signed ‘A. Marionnet’.
The sculpture: Albert Marionnet was a French 19th Century sculptor who lived from 1852 to 1912 (58 years).
The Inkpot looks original and in good shape, although no other examples could be found with the square glass Inkpot and tray mounting.
