This inkstand made in the Conta Boehme factory features a detailed and colorful scene with three figures dressed in 18th-century attire. A seated gentleman, dressed in a blue coat, is reading a book to two seated ladies. A small dog sits at their feet on a blue cushion. The entire top of the inkstand lifts off to reveal an ink pot and sander inside.
